To enter this award, you must employ above 100 employees and have a base in Northamptonshire. The judges will be looking for excellence in an organisation from across the diverse supply chain in Northamptonshire. They will be looking for an organisation which is making a difference in Northamptonshire.

• Can you demonstrate initiative, enterprise & good practices?

Logistics is at the heart of Northamptonshire and at the heart of the communities we live in. This award is to recognise the outside engagements those in the sector continue to undertake, often unnoticed by the wider community. What have you undertaken outside of your site? From tree planting to engaging with schools about logistics and careers, supporting community gardens and food banks to providing resources for community centres or skills for charities to expand and make a difference. Supporting individuals back into work – how have you made a difference?

The Northamptonshire Logistics Awards Judging Panel will be looking for:

• Explanation of what you have undertaken and how it has made a difference
• How was the activity undertaken? Donations/volunteering/company time
• Evidence of the impact the activity has had on a community/individuals
• Evidence of how the nominee/initiative is making a difference
• Focused on activity in Northamptonshire or based in Northamptonshire impacting
  more widely across UK/other sites

This category has been created to recognise organisations for harnessing a truly diverse workforce, businesses that excel in their commitment to equality and inclusion across all strands of diversity. The award will cover excellence in all areas of diversity including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race, neurodiversity.

We are all looking at our wider surroundings and the impact we have on the planet and use of resources. This could include Reuse and Recycle Initiatives, Biodiversity across your site and Colleague campaigns.

Continuous improvement in health safety and wellbeing is essential across the logistics supply chain – it’s important that the sector focuses on the necessity of creating a safe and healthy working environment that promotes the industry as one that is attractive and welcoming to all. This award recognises individuals or teams that have made significant contributions to improvements in health safety and wellbeing in the business or along the supply chain. It could be activity developed to support colleagues or that has led to demonstrable improvement in safety standards on a site or with partners, or wider community project, a new way of delivery?

The Northamptonshire Logistics Awards Judging Panel will be looking for:

• Provide a brief description of how your initiative goes beyond the basic to build a better
  organisational culture
• Explain how your health and wellbeing initiative has been applied to your organisation (e.g. working with external stakeholders, learning from or was triggered by an accident/incident/near miss, references industry leading initiatives).
• Explain what challenges you have overcome; were there any key successes you want to shout about?
• What other qualities make your organisation stand out?
• Focused on activity in Northamptonshire or based in Northamptonshire impacting more widely across UK/other sites

Recognising the vital role and skills of drivers, HGV and LGV in the Logistics & Transport sector in Northamptonshire and the valuable contribution they make to the UK’s economy and acknowledge their abilities.

They will be looking for an organisation which is efficient, reactive, innovative, adaptable – the leading company within Northamptonshire.

To recognise a team who have worked together on a project for the benefit of the supply chain or outstanding contribution to the industry. Open to any team of any size in a logistics operation/supply chain organisation across Northamptonshire that has made a difference and is able to demonstrate they have worked closely together with great impact.

• Has the team delivered a major project on time and to budget?
• What makes this Team stand out?
• How have they consistently over-achieved in their field of operation – such as high levels of
  customer service?
• How has the team delivered over and above that expected of them by stakeholders –
